It's 5:13pm as I write this, and that means that in less than two hours, I'll be home, where I can kick back and relax with my baby - YAY!
I love how we are together - We both make each other a priority - Every day, we find time to spend together, to talk, to laugh, to swoon, and other things that I'll never disclose here. I don't kiss and tell!
Work has been... odd. When we (the manager and myself) arrived this morning, there were lots of cars in the lot, and several teenagers hanging around the front door - Oh, yeah, we have a tournament today. They're playing Halo 3 on the 360's, and let me tell you, they get LOUD. It's horrendous trying to talk to a customer in the lobby about our laptops while there's so much yelling and carrying on coming out of the gaming arena in the back. Yeesh, it's a damn game, dudes. Get over it.
It's been sort of slow today, but of the people that have come into the computer shop, they've all taken their toll on our schedule - I love how people will come in, and want to talk for twenty minutes, and then, when they come back in the next day (despite being told that the turn-around time on repairs is 24-72 hours, and that WE will CALL THEM when their machine is fixed and ready to be picked up) - They get all butt hurt, and want to know why their computer isn't ready yet - Really, you come in, unannounced, EARLY, and want to know why your comp isn't ready yet? It's because we get people like yourself that come in and want to chat with us like we have nothing better to do. Seriously. BAH.
I coined a term for these people the other day - Incomputent. That about says it all, I think - I'm amazed they can even turn a computer on, never mind do anything else with it - It's not that they have a computer that scares me, it's that they DROVE here. If you can't figure out how to access your CD ROM, how the hell did you get a license?!? Please, don't kill anyone leaving the parking lot. kthnxbye.
Ah well, I've got to get back to work, then home to see my amazing CPGFL.
